I could write a lot of words about the trip, but suffice it to say this was some of the most fun I’ve had behind the wheel, ever. We ended up with five $1,500 AWD beaters and three support rigs.

It did well! Drove home at 70+ mph with AC blasting and no issues. Sold it to a new BMW enthusiast this morning.

I mean, it wasn’t a great XC90... almost 220k miles and had a pretty bad torque converter shudder that came and went, the AWD was disabled for some reason, a few SRS faults, leaky radiator, leaking oil, etc. But she made it through the two days of trails with no real issues!

I missed this when you posted it. Awesome work! We also survived our cheap car road trip , but I haven’t even started doing a write up yet.
